Good to see an old friend

After a number of otters were killed on the road in Peralvillo, see Un Paseo Manchegos number of entries regarding their deaths, it was a great sight to see one swim down the channel right next to us as we were walking along the other evening. It has been a while since I´ve seen one, my last sighting was Sep 2009, albeit I did see some spraints, i.e. otter droppings, last November which was a hopeful sign. Perhaps we can see a return to regular sightings of these sleek aquatic mammals in Peralvillo again.
